Stay Tuned...

Larry T. Durham is on "assignment" in the back woods of Up Country South Carolina. If he survives the ordeal, he'll return with all new moronic examples of pure frontier gibberish.

I've been to South Carolina a few times, but I'm not sure if I get what you mean by "up country." Would this be the furthest inland portion? Where they have mountains, etc?

ECI: That is correct. SC is broken up into 3 regions. The lowcountry (coastal areas), The midlands (obviously the middle part where Columbia is) and the upcountry (where the mountains and foothills are). The latter area is often called the "Upstate" these days, but I'm old school when it comes to local geograpy. :)
